Vendor Verification
Marketplace listing review is designed to keep provider information conservative, checked, and visibly separate from advertising.
What review checks
- Business identity, public contact details, official website, licensing or registration source when available, and service categories.
- Whether a field is supported by a provider website, official agency page, regulator page, court page, facility page, or another direct public source.
- Whether a listing contains unsupported credentials, unsupported availability claims, unsupported service areas, or stale contact details.
Marketplace approval limits
- Marketplace listings require review before final public approval.
- A listing update request, provider contact, or visibility request does not mean final public display is approved.
- Sponsored placements are ads, not endorsements.
- A sponsored placement does not verify a provider's current licensing, service availability, results, or suitability for a user's situation.
Vendor update requests
- Users and vendors can request corrections or listing updates.
- Vendors should provide a business name, public website, public licensing or registration source if available, and the fields they want reviewed.
- InmateLink may keep unsupported fields out of public copy until the source check is complete.
- Providers can request sponsor review, but sponsored placement is advertising and not an endorsement.
- Users should verify provider details directly before hiring, paying, scheduling, or sharing sensitive information.
