Reviews and Ratings Policy

Reviews and ratings must help users compare providers without fake sentiment, hidden incentives, retaliation, or misleading attribution.

Effective and last updated: August 24, 2026. A review or rating feature operates only where visibly enabled.

1

Authentic experience

  • A reviewer must describe a genuine first-hand experience or a clearly identified authorized family or business interaction.
  • Do not submit fabricated, purchased, AI-generated-as-experience, duplicate, coordinated, competitor, employee-disguised, impersonated, or conflict-undisclosed reviews.
  • Do not include private case, custody, medical, financial, child, contact, or identity information that is unnecessary to explain the experience.
2

Incentives and provider conduct

  • No one may condition payment, discounts, refunds, benefits, or service on a positive review or a specific sentiment.
  • A lawful incentive for an honest review must be clearly disclosed and cannot prohibit negative feedback.
  • Providers may ask for honest feedback but may not selectively suppress critics, threaten reviewers, submit reviews for themselves, or use contracts to block lawful consumer reviews.
3

Third-party ratings

  • A BBB, Trustpilot, Yelp, Google, or other third-party rating may appear only when attributed to the named platform with a source link and an observed or refreshed date.
  • InmateLink does not control the third party's methodology, moderation, completeness, freshness, or availability and does not adopt the rating as its own.
  • Third-party marks and ratings remain subject to their owners' terms. We may link out instead of copying data when reuse permission is unclear.
4

Moderation and disputes

  • We may screen, label, limit, remove, preserve, or decline reviews for fraud, conflicts, threats, unlawful content, privacy, irrelevance, manipulation, duplication, unsupported factual claims, or policy violations.
  • Moderation is not a guarantee that every review is accurate. Providers may submit a specific, evidence-backed dispute; disagreement or an unfavorable opinion alone is not grounds for removal.
  • We may show that a review is disputed, edited, incentivized, sourced elsewhere, or removed, and may retain nonpublic audit records needed to investigate abuse.
5

No purchased outcome

Advertising, subscription status, listing claims, or other commercial relationships do not purchase a higher review score, favorable moderation, or removal of truthful criticism. Sponsored placement is labeled separately from review information.
