Email and SMS Terms

These terms apply when InmateLink sends an account, invitation, support, transaction, service, or marketing communication by email or text.

Effective and last updated: August 24, 2026. A communication type operates only when the relevant feature is enabled.

1

Types of communications

  • Account verification, recovery, security, policy, support, correction, provider-review, and transaction notices.
  • User-directed invitations or notifications for a supported FamilyLink or other private-workspace feature.
  • Marketing or provider-opportunity messages only where permitted and with required consent and opt-out controls.
2

Consent and responsibility

  • By giving us a phone number or email for an enabled communication and affirmatively requesting or consenting where required, you authorize the described messages.
  • Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. The consent request will identify message purpose, frequency, and sender before enrollment.
  • A user who invites another person represents that the contact information is accurate, the invitation is wanted, and the user is authorized to send it. Invitations may not be used for prospecting or spam.
3

Frequency, charges, and delivery

  • Message frequency varies with requested actions and account activity. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.
  • Carriers and email providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and is not legal service, court notice, or emergency dispatch.
  • Keep contact details current and protect devices that display sensitive notification previews.
4

Stopping messages

  • Reply STOP to an enabled marketing text program to opt out; reply HELP for help where supported. You may also contact support@inmatelink.com.
  • Use the unsubscribe link in marketing email. We will honor commercial-email opt-outs within the legally required period.
  • You may continue to receive necessary account, security, transaction, or legal notices while an account or service remains active, where permitted.
5

Prohibited content and privacy

  • Do not send threats, harassment, unlawful marketing, credentials, identity documents, detailed case or custody records, health information, or other sensitive content through ordinary invitations or unsecured messaging.
  • Communication records may include sender, recipient, delivery provider, provider message ID, status, consent or opt-out state, and timestamps as described in the Privacy Policy.
