Privacy Choices
Use this page to understand and exercise the privacy choices available for your InmateLink account, submissions, communications, and applicable U.S. state rights.

Requests you may make
- Access or know the personal information InmateLink maintains about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information you provided or request a factual directory correction.
- Delete personal information, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, source-integrity, and recordkeeping exceptions.
- Receive a portable copy where applicable and technically feasible.
- Withdraw a consent where processing depends on consent, without affecting processing completed before withdrawal.
- Opt out of a covered sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling where applicable law provides that right.
- Appeal a denied request where applicable law provides an appeal.
How to submit
Email support@inmatelink.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Include the request type, the state where you live, the account email or relevant submission identifier, and enough detail to locate the record. Use Request a correction for public directory facts.
Verification and authorized agents
- We will use information reasonably necessary to match and verify the request. Do not send passwords, full government identifiers, or unnecessary sensitive documents through ordinary email.
- An authorized agent must provide proof of authority, and we may confirm the request directly with the consumer where law allows.
- We may ask for additional verification when a request seeks sensitive information or account deletion.
Timing, exceptions, and appeals
- We will acknowledge and respond within the period required by applicable law and will explain any permitted extension.
- We may deny or limit a request to protect another person's privacy, comply with law, preserve security or fraud records, complete a transaction, maintain lawful public-source records, or establish or defend legal claims.
- If we deny an appeal-eligible request, reply with “Privacy appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should change.
Sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and GPC
InmateLink does not sell personal information for money and does not use private workspace, message, case, custody, crisis, treatment, medication, recovery, or consumer health data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If a covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity is activated later, this page will provide the applicable opt-out control. We will honor a legally required Global Privacy Control signal for the browser and activity to which it applies.
Equal service
InmateLink will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. A feature may require information that is reasonably necessary to provide it; deleting that information may make the feature unavailable.
