Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
InmateLink respects intellectual-property rights and reviews sufficiently detailed copyright, trademark, and related complaints.

Copyright notices
- Identify the copyrighted work or a representative list of works claimed to be infringed.
- Identify the exact InmateLink URL and material at issue with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Provide your name, organization if applicable, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- State that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law.
- State under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and provide a physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices
- Identify the removed or disabled material and where it appeared before removal.
- State under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
- Provide your name, address, phone number, signature, and the jurisdiction/acceptance statements required by applicable law.
- We may forward a notice or counter-notice to the affected submitter or claimant and may restore material where permitted.

Trademark and other rights
- Identify the mark or right, registration information if any, owner, exact URL, challenged use, legal basis, and requested action.
- A business-name overlap or unfavorable truthful listing is not necessarily infringement. We may request evidence of rights, confusion, authorization, or identity.
- Directory references may make nominative or informational use of names and marks. A listing does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Repeat and abusive submissions
- We may suspend repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and may preserve a complaint history needed to enforce policy.
- Knowingly material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice may create liability. Do not use this process to suppress lawful criticism, public records, fair use, or competing businesses.
- Incomplete notices may be delayed or rejected. InmateLink may seek legal advice and is not required to decide complex ownership disputes.

How to send a notice
Email support@inmatelink.com with “IP complaint” in the subject line. Do not send unrelated private records or identity documents. If InmateLink registers a Copyright Office designated agent, this page will be updated with the exact registered agent information.
